ABOUT THE SHOW

 WHOA SHOW

Our 40-50 minute Live Show is an interactive puppet show for kids of all ages, even the grown-up kids! For details on our current show, click here.

For your child’s special day, these tickets are just $20 per person.

For Health and Safety reasons, at least one adult must attend the show with the children. However, not all parents will want to, or have to, watch the show.

KIDS BIRTHDAY BANQUET

The restaurant at Whoa! Studios – The Grounds, by Ben Bayly, produces wholesome, healthy and fresh food daily. We want your birthday memories to include healthy entertainment, play and food experiences. The food is served in a banquet style in the middle of the table for the children to pick and choose what they would like. You can find our menu above. Please note that all Set Menus are subject to change at any time. We regularly adapt our menus based on the vegetables/fruit in season. If you would like us to send you the most up to date menu, please mention this in your booking. Our restaurant is extremely busy during peak times and offering the best value food packages from the menu will ensure your experience will be fitting for your special day. This Set Menu is $19.50 per child.

The Whoa! Studios Urban Playground is truly a one of its kind in New Zealand. Lovingly crafted and beautifully finished, the Urban Playground will be a delight to children of all ages. Featuring movie set quality attractions such as the Rocket Ship and Mission Control, the Dragons Castle and the Pirates Cove. We are proud to offer the Whoa! Web, New Zealand’s only crochet play net with its unique adventure play that will delight and exercise your kids.

FOR THE YOUNG AT HEART

Groups of 12 or more adults booking a table between 11.00am – 2.00pm are required to order our set menu. Chefs Ben Bayly & Mike Shatura have created a delicious sharing menu, offering a selection of crafted seasonal dishes to be enjoyed by all at the heart of your table.

The Grounds Chefs work hard to make your child’s birthday special. They have designed some stunning cakes for you to buy. Your choices are:

  • A handmade Chocolate Ice Cream Cake for 6-8 people – $60
  • A handmade Vanilla Ice Cream Cake for 6-8 people  – $60
  • Bring your own cake – $20

Live Show:                      $20.00 per person

Kid’s Lunch*:                  $19.50 per child

Adult’s Lunch*:              $0-45.00 per adult

Cake*:                            $20-60.00

BOOKING PROCESS

Once you have read our Lunch & Show Package, our Birthday Terms & Conditions and have your estimated maximum numbers of adults and children please fill in the booking form below. We will check availability for your preferred date. Once your booking is confirmed, you will be contacted to confirm final numbers and pay for your show tickets via credit card over the phone. This is a non-refundable deposit and will secure your overall booking. However please note that show and booking times are at times subject to change. This comes with the nature of live shows and film studios schedules, we hold the right to reschedule if required. You will be notified as soon as we are aware of the change to ensure you can adjust and communicate changes with your guests. You will then pay for your food bill on the day at The Grounds restaurant. This way you can add any additional food items and this will be charged with your final food package bill.
