The Whoa! Studios Urban Playground is truly a one of its kind in New Zealand. Lovingly crafted and beautifully finished, the Urban Playground will be a delight to children of all ages.
Featuring movie set quality attractions such as the Rocket Ship and Mission Control, the Dragons Castle and the Pirates Cove. We are proud to offer the Whoa! Web, New Zealand’s only crochet play net with its unique adventure play that will delight and exercise your kids.
During the summer holiday period (Jan 2022) we are unfortunately unable to offer our Whoa Wet Waterslide or Whoa Run Obstacle course.

CROCHET NET
Prepare to be amazed with New Zealand’s only example of the world renowned crochet play net by Japanese artist Toshiko Horiuchi Macadam.
Hand crafted over two years using 70 kilometres of coloured nylon and stretched from a 12 meter high shaded structure, your kids will weave their way through the layers to reach the upper net before finding their way out again.
The Whoa! Web is a wonder of creative play and artwork all in one. Only at Whoa! Studios.

Whoa! Studios is proud to present our Whoa! Zone playground. Custom designed and built by our talented team of set designers and builders, every detail has been crafted for imaginative play experiences.
Blast off in the six metre tall rocket ship, navigate the launch from mission control, explore the castle before speeding down the slide, and cross the seven seas in search of treasure on the pirate ship.

DETAILS AND PRICING
WHOA! PLAY – URBAN PLAYGROUND
- $7.50 (per child) for an all-day play wristband on weekends and school holidays.
- $5 (per child) for an all-day play wristband on weekdays excluding school holidays.
- Includes the Whoa! Web and the Whoa! Zone attractions.
- Children aged 3 and under play free with a paid sibling.
- Park wristbands are provided FREE to Show Ticket holders on the same day.
- Please note our Inflatable Attractions are Seasonal and we hope to have these up for the 2023 Summer Season.

Our venue offers a wide range of food options for adults and children. We do not permit outside food to the park with the exception of baby food & formula.

Park Passes can be purchased onsite from The Doodle Toy Store or The Grounds onsite.
Please be advised our Urban Playground is often unsupervised on weekdays during the school term.
