VISITING? HERE'S ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT VACCINE REQUIREMENTS...
-
Under the new Government directed Covid Traffic Light System, our venue and restaurant will require visitors to be fully vaccinated or have a valid exemption.
This means, all eligible patrons (anyone over 12 years + 3 months of age) will be required to be fully vaccinated, OR have a Ministry of Health Medical exemption. From the 5th of December, NZ Government has stated that anyone with a Medical exemption will be required to present their exemption via the My Vaccine Pass scheme. This will keep your medical exemption private to you, and our staff will only know that you are validated for entry. (a little like secret Santa!)
On your arrival, head to our Main Entry- Red Carpet welcoming point – not the restaurant. There our team of worker Elves will be able to validate your My Vaccine Pass and point you in the right direction for either your restaurant booking or to the Doodle Toy Store to collect park passes.
While Auckland is in the RED Traffic Light category, the following directives also apply:
- Masks are required while indoors including:
- Along the Red Carpet
- In the Doodle Toystore
- In the washrooms
- Masks are NOT required while SEATED to Dine in the restaurant
- Masks are recommended while outdoors but are NOT mandatory
- Children Under 12 are NOT required to wear a facemask
- Make sure there’s a 1 meter distance between you and those you don’t know – even on the Playground.
- If you are unwell, please stay home. (and choose another day to visit us)
Our Team Has Been Busy!
We’re glad to share that all of our team is fully vaccinated(or will be very soon!) and will be wearing masks indoors for everyone’s safety. We are proactive about protecting ourselves, you and your family, so we’ll be regularly sanitising high touch surfaces and following good hygiene practices throughout the day.
We have been preparing the park and venue to welcome you back as joyfully as possible – and we’re so excited to see you all again! So please help us out by following the rules laid out above and follow guidance from our team onsite – then we can all have a fun and safe holiday season!
